Having grown up in Singapore, Dr. Sri trained in rural, regional, and tertiary centres in Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. He was a clinical fellow in nephrology at the Hammersmith Hospital (London,UK), with subspecialty experience in autoimmune aspects of kidney disease and kidney transplantation.
He provides care for patients with general medical and renal problems, with special interest in autoimmune disease (including vasculitis and lupus nephritis), hypertension, conservative care and complex diagnostics.
He continues to serve as a RACP examiner for the physician examinations, an adjunct clinical senior lecturer at Curtin University, and is part of the Safety & Quality and Morbidity & Mortality committees and the Digital Medical Record clinical reference group at Royal Perth Hospital.
He currently works at Royal Perth Hospital, and can provide private inpatient consultations at the Mount Hospital and Hollywood Hospital.
Dr Sri sees all Aurora Bariatric's patients of Dr Blackham during their operative stay at the Mount Hospital as an inpatient (either the night of surgery or the morning after), to ensure comprehensive medical and surgical care for all of our patients.
